GREAT TO WORK WITH SALMAN KHAN

Sonakshi Sinha is one of the most talked about newcomers.

And all the attention she has been getting is because of her launch opposite Salman Khan in Arbaaz Khan’s film Dabangg.

Being Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it required little struggle for the girl to enter cinema. But shedding the flab was surely difficult. Anyhow, she has managed to get in shape and is making her presence felt at events.

Sonakshi has already started promoting Dabangg and has been talking non- stop about her experience of working with Sallu. Sonakshi Sinha says: “ He is a great person. All three brothers are gems. I am lucky to have done my first film with Salman. He is supportive, encouraging and just great.” The actress adds that she had to put in a lot of hard work into the film, considering she plays a girl very unlike her in real life. “ I play a village girl, someone who is not me at all,” she says.

The film releases in September, around Eid.

MAHESH MANJREKAR PLAY AS DAD IN DABANGG

A warm and dildaar Bihari father was needed for Sonakshi Sinha in Abhinav Kashyap's Dabangg. The natural choice was the actress' dad, actor Shatrughan Sinha.

And although Salman Khan personally requested Shotgun to do the needful, the older actor shied away from the temptation of sharing screen space with his beti in her debut drama.

Sonakshi Sinha, it appears, doesn't want to play his daughter's papa on screen until she's confident enough. Mahesh Manjrekar stepped into the papa's part has played it exactly like Shatrughan Sinha would.

Manjrekar Manjrekar is a bit unwilling to expose details about his part in Dabangg. "Yes I am playing Sonakshi's father. I'm not allowed to reveal details about my role. But I will say this much: After a long time I'm getting to play a cute, cuddlesome character. I was tired of playing the sleazeball in all the films I was offered."

Apparently, on seeing the rushes of Dabangg, Sinha Sr warmly congratulated Manjrekar for doing such a good job of playing his daughter's father.

Real Time Relation
But the real bonding that grew on location was between Mahesh and Salman. The two are working together in Manjrekar's Hindi adaptation of Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho. Sallu also insists that Manjrekar play a part in the Khans' next home production, as Sonakshi Sinha's father again.

DABANGG RELEASE DATE 10 SEP 2010

The shooting of Salman Khan's forthcoming film Dabangg is complete. The film is now in post production stage.

Dabangg, which is produced by Arbaaz Khan stars Salman, Sonakshi Sinha and Mahi Gill among others and is directed by Abhinav Kashyap. The film will see Salman in a negative role.

Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, a source close to the film said, "The shooting of the film is complete, except for a day's shoot for patchwork, but Salman bhai is not needed for that shoot. The patchwork will be shot in a bungalow in Mumbai on 16 June."

The film is all set to release across theatres on 10 September, 2010.

DABANGG is a fun subject that is produced by Arbaaz Khan and has Salman Khan in the lead. The film will have its protagonist talk in chaste rustic accent. It's known that Salman Khan has one of the most hilarious roles of his career in this film. Set in Uttar Pradesh, DABANGG is said to be a story of a corrupt police officer played by Salman Khan and highlights the flaws and loopholes in the system. The film primarily deals with the unlawful practices in the states of UP and Bihar.

It is worth to mention that Salman will be spotting moustaches in the film as you can see in the picture. Look closely and Arbaaz appears menacing rather than funny in his new look.

SONAKSHI SINHA DEBUT FILM DABANGG

Finally, Shatrughan Sinha granted Salman Khan to launch bollywood film Dabangg with her daughter Sonakshi Sinha. The Sinha family was not agreed with the film career of Sonakshi Sinha early, but Salman Khan agreed them.

Salman Khan promised that he will take care of Sonakshi Sinha very much and now Salman is now seriously committing his promise. He advised Sonakshi Sinha to loss her weight and not to do numerous films together.

Shatrughan Sinha Said that Salman Khan understand the bollywood film industry very well, therefore he seem to be quite sure.

Mr. Sinha requested to Salman Khan that Sonakshi Sinha do debut film by mainting the name along with the reputation of the Sinha family.
